FAQs
How many guests can I bring to my appointment?
Our fitting areas can seat 5 guests so please bear this in mind when inviting your entourage.
We kindly request that children do not accompany you to our shop, as it may not be the most suitable environment for them. However, if it's unavoidable, we ask that you arrange for a responsible guest to supervise them throughout, ensuring they remain seated and refrain from approaching our rails, which could pose a safety risk. Feel free to bring along a tablet or small toy to keep them entertained while seated; we provide complimentary WiFi for your convenience. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in creating a safe and pleasant shopping experience for all our customers.
Do I need an appointment to try dresses?
Appointments are needed so that you don’t have to wait if we are busy. We are open Tuesdays - Saturdays 10am - 5pm. You can book an appointment online here or you can call us to see if we have any availability for the same day.
When should I start looking for my dress?
The best time to start wedding dress shopping is when you're ready to find and buy your dress - this timing varies for each bride. It's helpful to have your venue chosen beforehand because it might affect the style of dress you'll want. Most brides will look for their dress around 6-12 months before their wedding day, which is ideal. If you're planning to lose weight before the wedding or if your weight fluctuates, you might want to wait until closer to the date to start shopping. Our dresses are available to take home the same day so we can accommodate this, but we do still recommend you give yourself at least 3-4 months to allow for any alterations.
Can I book if I’m just getting ideas, but don’t want to buy my dress yet?
If you're just wanting to get ideas, but aren't ready to find your dress just yet, we recommend not booking in until you're ready. This way, you avoid the disappointment of falling for a dress when you’re not able to say ‘yes’.
This also means that we can keep appointments available for brides wanting to find their dress as we are only a small business with limited availability. We appreciate your understanding on this as we know it is exciting - we believe it is worth the wait & achieves the best experience for you!
What are the payment options?
We accept cash or all major credit/debit cards as payment for your gown as you get to take your dress home with you on the day. We also accept payment via Klarna & Clearpay. See more information about how this works here. We don't have a lay-by or storage system which is how we can keep our prices low for our customers.
Will you have all of the dresses on the site in my size?
Due to the limited edition and off-the-peg nature of our dresses we can’t guarantee every dress will be available in every size. Feel free to message us here before you book an appointment if you'd like to know what sizes we have available in the style you are looking for.
Are the dresses on your website the only dresses in store?
Nearly all of our gowns are shown on our site. If you are looking for a particular style of dress that you can’t see on our website, please email us or message us on social media with some pictures and we can advise if we will be getting a similar style in future because we do get frequent deliveries of new styles.
What sizes are your gowns available in?
We have a variety of dresses in stock in sizes 6 - 28. Due to the limited edition and off-the-peg nature of our dresses we can’t guarantee every dress will be available in every size. Feel free to message us here before you book an appointment if you'd like to know what sizes we have available in the style you are looking for.
Do you have dresses in plus sizes?
Yes - we offer a lot of choice in all sizes from a size 6 to a size 28, including one of the areas largest plus size ranges! This means you can try dresses on in your size, view more about our plus size collection here.
What underwear should I wear to my appointment?
We would recommend you to wear a nude or white bra that is preferably strapless. However, a lot of our brides choose not to wear a bra with our dresses as they have built in support. We would also recommend wearing nude, seamfree underwear, or even shapewear if you plan on wearing this on your wedding day, particularly if you prefer fitted dresses.
How much are your gowns?
All of our wedding dresses are priced at £699.
Are you able to order gowns in different sizes?
As all of our dresses are off-the-peg we cannot order dresses in alternative sizes. We offer a mix of different styles in sizes 6-28 so that you can find your perfect dress in your size in store.
Do you do dress alterations and adjustments if needed?
We don't have in-house seamstress facilities, however we can recommend many experienced seamstresses in a variety of areas where you can take your gown to be altered. The details are provided in store once you have purchased your gown. Our experienced bridal advisors can advise you of what alterations can be done to each gown.
Can I bring Champagne or bubbly with me to celebrate whilst trying on dresses?
We know that choosing your wedding dress is a very special event and our staff will do everything they can to give you an incredible experience. However, as there are lots of customers, staff, and dresses being moved around the store very rapidly we cannot allow food or drinks around the dresses to avoid spillages as bridal fabrics are very delicate. We can however recommend some lovely local places that you can go to for a special drink, lunch, or maybe even afternoon tea in the local area so that you can make it a special day out.
Will you get the same gowns back in stock?
Once gowns are sold we are unlikely to get the same styles back in stock which is to ensure we can offer you the latest, on-trend dresses in-store. We do get new styles in fairly frequently, so follow us on social media to see the latest dresses.
Do you sell bridesmaids dresses?'
Unfortunately, we don't - we only stock wedding dresses and accessories for the bride.
Do you sell accessories?
We have a range of accessories for the bride including veils, hair accessories, jewellery, straps/sleeves, underskirts and bridal belts to complete your look.
Do you have disabled access with a downstairs fitting room?
We do and our shop is all on the ground floor! We have a portable wheelchair ramp for easier entry into the shop. There is a ledge up into the changing room area, so we can also use the portable ramp on this ledge if required. Let us know before your appointment so that we can have the ramp set up ready for you.
Do you have parking available?
Yes, we have completely free on-site parking at the back of the courtyard & also on-street parking directly outside the shop.
